A customs official at LAX was terminated last Wednesday after he stashed marijuana in a customer's luggage to demonstrate the effectiveness of a drug sniffing dog. A harmless educational game of fetch, except the dog failed to find the planted goods!
The official later admitted he had failed to record which bag it was in, and once passed on the carousel, could not pick out that particular bag. After the TSA blunder, a passenger left with a free bag of marijuana. Embarrassed customs officials urged for the passenger who found it to return it to the source, haha...right.
